January

I have to go with Monster Hunter: World here. I love that it’s also a PC release as I’m a big MMO player and this seems like a natural fit for the platform.

Lost Sphear also has my interest. Here’s hoping it’s a more polished experience than I am Setsuna.

February

I played Radiant Historia not long ago on the DS and had an incredible time, so I implore anyone who hasn’t tried it to pick up this remaster in February. In any case, Secret of Mana is a big name classic that I never got through in its original form. I”ll pick this one up in February.

March

Ni No Kuni was too beautiful to play down for all its flaws, and I anxiously anticipate its sequel. As for Yakuza 6, maybe it’s time to try the series out this year. Can anyone recommend a starting point for a series newcomer?

To be Confirmed…

A chance to revisit a complete version of Final Fantasy XV instead of the swiss cheese I got in its initial release? Count me in. Its PC port is due sometime in 2018.

Other than that, I’m too big of a tactical game fan to not put Valkyria Chronciles 4 at the top of my list. Code Vein also has my interest peaked with its self-admitted Souls style design, and Project Octopath Traveler is giving me Romancing SaGa vibes that I most appreciate.
